(back) Subject: Re: Big Tires From: "x1r1 x" <x1r1@hotmail.com> Date: Thu, 11 Jan 2001 22:50:13 -0800 Ive seen a lot of Camaros with huge rear tires that stick out of the wheelwell 2" on each side. to do that, you'd have to limit you suspension = travel, and jack up the back of the car(long shackle kit, and relocate bumpstops). i bet it hurts handling. with 14" wheels, you might not have = to lift much, 17's would be a different story. I tink a 10" wide wheel might fit inside the wheelwell, maybe with = relocated shocks. Ive heard it is possible. I talked to a guy with 265/50/15s all the way around a '69 Camaro, missing the inner fenders on the front. I think a 69 has more room under the fenders. Those are inset 6 1/2". Rowan _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com
